In Context

When loading activity into Maybern, you may decide to exit a capital event (capital calls, equalizations, distributions), before finalizing. In this scenario, the event will automatically save as a draft. This guide shows how to return to a draft event to edit, finalize or discard it. Note that keeping an event in a draft state will not have an impact on any other workflows or Fund Family economics

Step-by-Step

To edit a capital event that has been started but not finalized, navigate to the Capital Activity tab and select a draft event, which will be marked in yellow

If you would like to edit the event, click the edit icon in the Events table to bring you back to the desired workflow

If you would like to delete current activity in the event, click the trash icon in the Events table

In the pop-up window, click Delete to remove current activity in the event

Finally, if you would like to delete the entire event, click the ellipsis in the top right corner and select Delete Event. The draft Event will no longer show up in your Capital Activity History page
